The road to town.... and some beautiful little things....

 I have avoided taking pictures of  Bingil Bay road....it really is shocking ..and I drive it every day....but the growth has begun already and I do now feel there is room in my heart to hope it will be beautiful again...
I have been wondering (and worrying)  what there will be to Photograph ... So I have begun my search for beautiful things...... and really, it wasnt hard once I began to look in the right direction... accept the change and step forward...

The world we live in...

Everything has shifted significantly in our world here....and its difficult and exhausting to keep looking at such a harsh and altered landscape...that was recently so lush and vibrant...
But there are smiles... and beauty amidst it all....

Our house survived in tact but for a few windows.... sadly the forest has all but gone...

There is always fun to be had if you have the right attitude !

What a beauty

We found this gorgeous Rose crowned fruit dove on its back in the yard, wing bent legs curled in..we have carried her with us everywhere since, drop feeding her ....We are not sure if she will be able to return to the wild but for now she is reminding us that there is still beauty around.... if only you look carefully
